Quick Answers

When is Sundown Soca Festival 2027?

Saturday, July 31, 2027 — Toronto Carnival Saturday — from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Doors close at 8:00 PM and there's no entry after that.

What's the age requirement and what ID do I need?

This event is 19+. Every guest needs valid government-issued photo ID at the door — no exceptions, regardless of ticket status.

Can I leave and come back in?

No. Entry is single-entry only, so plan accordingly.

What's included with General Admission?

Festival entry, all main stage sets, food village access, open-air viewing areas, and 1 cooler per pass (no glass items).

What's included in the Premium Reserved Area?

5 General Admission passes, a 10x10 tent, a high-top table, 5 chairs, and up to 5 coolers (no glass items).

Can I bring a cooler or cooler cart?

Yes — 1 cooler per General Admission pass, or up to 5 per Premium Reserved package. Approved cooler carts are allowed, subject to size limits set by event management. No glass, and all coolers are inspected at entry.

Can I bring a portable chair?

In limited capacity, yes — but not near VIP areas, the front of the main stage, or in passageways. It's a fete, so space is kept clear for everyone to dance.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

No outside food is permitted. Caribbean flavor foods, drinks, and festival favorites are available for purchase onsite all day. Drinks in your cooler are fine as long as there's no glass.

What if it rains?

Sundown is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event, so dress for the weather. Any schedule changes will be announced on site or through our official channels.

Will I be photographed or filmed?

Possibly. Photos and video are captured for safety, recap, and social media. By entering, guests acknowledge they may appear in event media taken in public areas.
